A History Program: Fountains of Life

The idea of National Parks is as original to the United States as the Constitution itself. And as this great national experiment of conserving and protecting these iconic landscapes evolved, so did the manner in which they were managed. From martial law to jet age design, the many concepts and policies put in place over the year at these magnificent cathedrals of Mother Nature, are as varied and interesting as the purlieu itself. Come join local authors and historians David & Gayle Woodruff in a 55-minute free slide show, as they recount a few of these curious and memorable experiments in land management.
