A 46-year-old man and an inmate at Carson City Jail was booked on a felony failure to appear warrant, a sheriff’s deputy said.

The warrant for Keith Edward Watrous of Silver Springs was issued March 27, 2018. He was also placed on a parole and probation hold and was held without bail in lieu of a hearing.

In other arrests:
— A 23-year-old Carson City man, Richard Allen McCoy, was arrested Monday in the 2000 block of East William Street for a felony failure to appear in court warrant issued March 19, 2018. He was held without bail in lieu of a hearing.

— A 37-year-old Carson City man, Paul Curtis Scriven, was arrested Monday in the 1200 block of Nevada Street for a felony warrant issued April 2, 2018 out of the California Department of Corrections. He is being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.

— A 31-year-old transient was arrested Monday, 7:38 p.m. in the area of William and Oxoby streets for misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. According to the arrest report, the man was involved in an argument at a William Street grocery store. Deputies made contact and determined that no crime had happened.

The deputy was advised the man was on Alternative Sentencing with a “no alcohol” clause. The man told the deputy he had approximately 6 shots of Fireball whiskey throughout the day. He provided a PBT of .04. Alternative Sentencing requested the man be placed under arrest for the violation. Bail: $3,000.

— A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 10:11 p.m. in the 1100 block of Northfield Drive for misdemeanor suspicion of DUI.

According to the arrest report, deputies were called to the area of Northfield Drive in reference to a vehicle crash. The suspect was seated in the driver seat of a Nissan sedan, which had hit three unoccupied parked vehicles, according to the arrest report.

The man had red watery eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from his person. A deputy asked the man if he had been drinking, the arrest report states.

The man replied he had 4 to 5 beers and two shots. Carson City Fire Department arrived and assessed injuries to the man’s face from the crashes. The man had a large laceration on his nose, according to the arrest report.

A deputy asked the man if he would be willing to perform standardized field sobriety tests. The man agreed, however, his nose would not stop bleeding. Due to his injuries and his need for medical treatment he was taken to Carson Tahoe Hospital where he received 8 stitches to his nose, the arrest report states.

While at the hospital the man provided a voluntary preliminary breath test in which he blew a .234 on a partial blow. He was later taken to Carson City Jail where he was booked without out incident for suspicion of DUI. Bail: $1,137.
