Annual Ride of Silence

Ride of Silence is an international event that starts at 7 PM worldwide on May 21st, 2025 to honor cyclists who have been killed by motor vehicles. Muscle Powered will be leading a Ride of Silence starting at McFadden Plaza in downtown Carson City.
Each year, we partner with the Carson City Sheriff’s office to provide an escort as we ride an 8-mile paved loop around downtown Carson City. Prior to the ride, the names of those who have died will be read out loud.
This ride will be done in complete silence in memory of those who have passed and to continue to bring awareness to drivers about bicycling safety to have zero fatalities on our roadways.
