Wine and jazz mixed together Saturday as the 2017 Jazz and Beyond Carson City Music Festival has gotten underway for its three-week festival.

Saturday also marked the August Wine Walk in downtown Carson City, held the first Saturday of each month.

Some wine tasting venues featured live music to combine the celebrations of the two events.
