UPDATE: A 3.49 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 6:39 p.m., Monday apparently on the California side in Alpine County, 6.8 miles west southwest of Double Springs Flat and 7 miles from Gardnerville Ranchos in Douglas County, according to the Nevada Seismological Lab.

No word yet on any damages. Many social media readers said they didn’t feel it. It was at a depth of 7.25 miles. The magnitude from NSL has fluctuated between 3.49 to 3.2. Check back for updates or follow Nevada Seismological Lab here and USGS here.
