Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Dec. 9-15, 2024. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
- 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
- Center Drive between Alder Street and Clearview Drive will be closed to thru traffic from December 2, 2024, to December 13, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Commerce Way between Executive Pointe Way and Lompa Lane will be closed to traffic from Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, 5:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- Ethel Way at Hudson Drive will be closed to thru traffic from Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Hudson Drive between Conte Drive and Gentry Lane will be closed to thru traffic from Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Minnesota Street between Washington Street and Carloine Street will be closed to traffic on Thursday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
- College Parkway at the Lompa Lane intersection will have reduced westbound lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Fairview Lane between Carson Street and Kansas Street will have reduced eastbound lanes from December 9, 2024, to January 30, 2025, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Lompa Lane between College Parkway and Bryan Circle will have shifting lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
- Mountain Street between Fleischmann Way and Topaz Drive will have shifting lanes on Tuesday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Mountain Street between Jeanell Drive and Ivy Street, as well as the intersection of Winnie Lane and Mountain Street, will have shifting lanes on Monday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- Ormsby Boulevard between Newman Place and Washington Street will have reduced lanes from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
