Dozens of service providers were available to answer questions and provide information to the public Saturday during the second annual Hand-Up Resource Fair held inside the Marv Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park in Carson City.

More than 40 area service providers representing community resources covering everything from health care to employment and transportation were present to network with visitors and provide education about services.

There was free admission into the fair, sponsored by the Carson City Health and Human Services Department and hosted by the University of Nevada, Reno, Orvis School of Nursing.
