
You don’t have to be a fraternity guy or sorority gal to enjoy “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum,” playing at the Carson City Brewery Arts Center’s outdoor theater beginning today and continuing July 24, 25, 30, 31 and Aug. 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Directed by Karen Chandler of Carson High fame, “Forum” has music by Stephen Sondheim with book by Larry Gelbart, a “M.A.S.H.” writer. The show is a takeoff on the works of Roman playwright Plautus.
The cast will appear in togas (thanks to the warm weather) and includes Andi Anderson, Core Stockton, Steve Meyer and Mike Rapisora. June Joplin of Comma Coffee also appears.
