An earthquake was reported at 7:20 a.m. Saturday morning centered 13.8 miles east of Yerington. According to USGS, the earthquake was 3.8 in magnitude, while the Nevada Seismological Laboratory reports it as being 3.83 in magnitude.
The quake depth is reported at 8.14 kilometers or 5 miles, according to the laboratory. Some social media readers in the Lyon County area said they felt the earthquake.
