Carson Valley Sertomans Eileen Behr and Delores Clarkson went shopping for new coats using the $2,000 Walmart Foundation grant. This was a local grant provided by the local Gardnerville Walmart.
They purchased 14 kids coats and about 20 pair of kids gloves. CV Sertoma wants to acknowledge the generosity of our local Walmart, as well as the Carson City Costco for their monetary donations which have helped our continued success with this annual coat drive.
This year’s focus has been on children’s coats and gloves, as requested by the local organizations who will be distributing the clothing.
