Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Dec. 15-21, 2025. Closures and lane reductions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work. Go here to view a map of the road closures and lane restrictions happening this week.

5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed nightly from Monday through Saturday, 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.

5th Street between Stewart Street and Carson Street will be closed from Thursday through Saturday, 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

7th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will be closed from Monday through Saturday.

Curry Street between Adams Street and Parks Street will be closed from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Goldfield Avenue between Saliman Road and Carson Meadow Drive will be closed to through traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Park Street between Curry Street and Carson Street will be closed from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Plaza Street between 5th Street and 7th Street will be closed from Monday through Saturday.

Rawhide Way between Telegraph Street and Goldfield Avenue will be closed to through traffic from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The State Street/William Street intersection will be closed to all traffic from December 15, 2025, to December 26, 2025, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Stewart Street/William Street intersection will be closed to all traffic from Tuesday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

5th Street between Stewart Street and Plaza Street will have lane restrictions with flaggers from Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

College Parkway between Lompa Lane and Highway 50 will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

College Parkway between Western Nevada College and Ormsby Boulevard will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Roop Street between Northridge Drive and Winnie Lane will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Stewart Street between 8th Street and 5th Street may have reduced lanes with flaggers and lane shifts from Monday through Saturday.

William Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have restricted lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
