The Carson City Empty Bowls Planning Committee invites the community to join us for our 10th Annual Empty Bowls Carson City event this Friday, Dec. 6, 2024 inside the Carson Mall, 1313 South Carson Street.

Food will be served from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Each year our community members come together to enjoy a simple meal with their neighbors and help us raise awareness and funds to fight hunger and food insecurity in the Carson City area.

Your $25 ticket includes your choice of one of our handcrafted bowls and a delicious bowl of hot soup. More than 20 local restaurants are donating soup and other items this year.

All of the proceeds from this event benefit the food programs at Friends In Service Helping (F.I.S.H.) in their efforts to fight hunger within our community. Enjoy your meal, choose one of our marvelous bowls, take part in our silent auction and raffle, and enjoy the live entertainment.

Local potters and artisans collaborate throughout the year to create beautiful, unique bowls that represent the many individuals struggling with food insecurity. This event is a meaningful way to make a difference while enjoying a meal, supporting a great cause, and your participation directly impacts those who need it most.

Tickets are available at the door or you may purchase tickets now at Ogres-Holm Pottery Studio, F.I.S.H. or online here.

By attending the Empty Bowls event, you are joining a community-wide effort to provide meals and support to local families. Together, we can make a real difference in the fight against hunger — one bowl at a time. Visit our website at emptybowlscc.org for more information.
