Atlantis Casino Resort Spa is inviting the community to take part in its Holly Jolly Days promotion during the month of December. From December 2 to December 18, the Atlantis will be offering guests who donate canned food items special offers and discounts. Barrels located across the property will be used to collect donations for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
“We are always excited to hear about Holly Jolly Days,” said Jocelyn Lantrip, director of marketing for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. “This great food drive has been happening for so many years and always makes a big impact. We are grateful to the Atlantis and all of the wonderful people who offer food donations at Holly Jolly Days.”
Thanks to its generous guests, the Atlantis has donated 65,508 lbs. of food to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada since the inception of Holly Jolly Days in 2011, helping to provide 54,590 meals for those in need in the northern Nevada community.
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada reports it is currently assisting an average of 155,000 people each month, a number that is 30% higher than two years ago and 70% higher than before the pandemic. More than 11% of Nevadans face hunger every day.
As part of Holly Jolly Days, the Atlantis is also offering guests on the casino floor a chance to win a share of $50,000 in luxury prizes such as Smart TVs, Smartwatches, AirPods, Laptops and much more. Every Monday and Wednesday between 1PM and 8PM, winners will be announced every 30 minutes. Casino guests have to be actively playing a slot machine with a Monarch Rewards Card to be eligible.
