Here is the Carson City road report for the week of Dec. 2-8, 2024. Closures or lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
— Apollo Drive between Hiko Court and Tara Street will be closed to traffic from Monday – Friday, 24 hours a day. Detours will be provided.
— Carson Street between Robinson Street and 5th Street will be closed on Friday, from 4:00 pm to 7:45 pm for the Silver & Snowflake Festival 2024.
— Center Drive between Alder Street and Clearview Drive will be closed to thru traffic from December 2, 2024, to December 13, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Commerce Way between Executive Pointe Way and Lompa Lane will be closed to traffic from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
— Hudson Drive between Conte Drive and Gentry Lane will be closed to thru traffic from Monday – Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Antler Drive between Morgan Mill Road and Deer Run Road will have shoulder work on Wednesday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Caboose Drive between Railroad Drive and Pullman Drive will have shoulder work on Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— The roundabout at the Carson Street and Stewart Street intersection will have reduced lanes from Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— College Parkway at the Lompa Lane intersection will have reduced westbound lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
— Lompa Lane between College Parkway and Bryan Circle will have shifting lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
— Wright Way between Stewart Street and Oregon Way will have intermittent lane and sidewalk closures from November 19, 2024, to early December, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
