Unclaimed property in the hands of the state will go up for action on Saturday in Las Vegas, State Treasurer Kate Marshall announced today.
More than 325 items, including coins and silver rounds, gold jewelry, rings, and watches will be available at the auction. Available items can be viewed on the State Treasurer’s website by clicking here. The auction consists of unclaimed and abandoned property held in safe deposit boxes where the rightful owner has not been located.
“Last year’s auction brought in approximately $94,000 and we hope to surpass that amount this year,” Marshall said.
The Unclaimed Property Auction will be at the Grant Sawyer Building, 555 E. Washington Avenue, in Las Vegas.
