A 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested late Nov. 19 on a bench warrant for alleged violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence on Tissiac Circle.

According to the arrest report, the reporting party told dispatch his girlfriend was at her ex-boyfriend’s house and he was concerned for her safety because of the suspect’s prior abuse, and because she had already been in the suspect’s residence for ten minutes. He told dispatch he’d been calling his girlfriend, but the suspect would answer, say something, then hang up.

Dispatch advised the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest that was issued Nov. 13 for violation of bail conditions.

When they arrived on scene, deputies positioned their vehicles in front of the house and ordered the occupants out to which both the suspect and the ex-girlfriend complied.

The man was taken into custody on his bench warrant; he told deputies he had known they were coming to arrest him, and had even packed a bag of items he wished to take with him to the jail. Deputies spoke with the ex-girlfriend who said she was fine, and that she and the suspect had just been talking.

He was transported to the Carson City Jail where he is being held without bail.

Man arrested for trespassing after fourth incident in 24 hours

A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Nov. 20 on suspicion of trespassing after deputies said he repeatedly returned to a north Carson City gas station and was later reported screaming at vehicles outside a nearby casino.

Deputies were first called about 11:45 p.m. Nov. 19 to a gas station in the 1100 block of North Carson Street for an unwanted subject and told the suspect he was trespassed from the property after a clerk reported aggressive behavior.

Deputies noted the suspect matched the description of a man involved in a previous battery at another Carson City casino and notified the deputy handling that case. Around 1:15 a.m., deputies responded to a casino in the 500 block of North Carson Street for a report of a man screaming at vehicles; deputies contacted the suspect inside, where another deputy issued a citation in connection with the earlier casino battery and trespassed him from that property for 24 hours.

About 2 a.m., staff at the gas station reported the suspect had come back and was yelling at customers before leaving on foot; deputies found the suspect in front of a business on East Long Street and booked him into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of trespassing.

Bail: $1,137

19-year-old arrested for DUI, cannabis possession

A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested the evening of Nov. 19 on suspicion of first-offense DUI, possession of less than one ounce of cannabis and obstruction/resisting after a four-vehicle crash on Airport Road.

Deputies were dispatched to Airport Road at 7:30 p.m. on report of a multi-vehicle collision. The reporting deputy stated that a red SUV had hit a parked pickup, which was pushed into a parked SUV, and which in turn was pushed into another parked SUV.

The three vehicles were unoccupied and had all been parked along the side of the road.

When deputies contacted the suspect, he told them he had “f*cked up” and told deputies to take him to jail.

Deputies said the teen had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his person, and he admitted to drinking. The suspect declined field sobriety tests, but agreed to a preliminary breath test.

However, he tried and failed three times to complete it without success.

Despite telling deputies earlier to take him to jail, he later became uncooperative when deputies tried to place him in a patrol car.

During a search of his person, deputies reported finding a cannabis vape pen, which is illegal to possess under the age of 21.

Because of the crash, deputies took the suspect to the hospital for medical evaluation as well as a blood test for blood alcohol content.

He was later booked into the Caron City Jail without incident. Bail: $3,137
