If you signed up for Carson City’s first annual Trails Challenge 2024, be sure to turn in your Trail Logs by Dec. 1.

The Trails Challenge launched in June 2024. The program was created to encourage the exploration of Carson City’s many trails and open spaces.
The program is free and open to all. Whether you hike, bike, run, walk or even paddle, the Challenge is intended to get Carson City residents outdoors an exploring their local trails. Special thanks to Visit Carson City, Great Basin Brewing Company, So Juicy, Patagonia, The Fox Brewery, BlueZone Sports, Reno Aces, Eagle Valley Golf Course, and Duncan Golf Management for helping make this program possible!
To complete the Challenge all you have to do is complete a minimum of five trails on our Trails List, log your mileage on a Trails Log, and submit it to us before Dec. 1 2024 to be entered into a prize raffle.
Go here to register.

Participants who turn in their logs will be entered into our amazing prize raffle – with lots of great prizes donated by local businesses.

The prize raffle will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 from noon to 1 p.m. at Riverview Park in Carson City.  Join us in your best holiday sweater for hot beverages, a live raffle and immediately following the raffle will be the annual Park Ranger-Led Holiday Hike.

To turn in your log, email it to elarsen@carson.org or turn it in at the Carson City Multi-purpose Athletic Center.
