UPDATE SUNDAY: A person was injured in an off-road accident in the Goni area. The person was treated and flown to Renown Medical Center in Reno. Their condition is unknown at this time.

At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Care Flight was requested to the Goni and N. Sutro area due to a off-roading accident.
First responders were told they would need a side by side or similar off roading vehicle to access the area. A quad vehicle was unavailable and the patient was carried by a rescue team to a landing zone established for Care Flight, according to a CCFD battalion chief when reached Sunday.
