A cement truck overturned Monday morning blocking westbound traffic on Fairview and the I-580 off ramp in Carson CIty.
The driver of the truck was injured and will be transported via Care Flight to Renown Medical Center in Reno.
The accident, reported at around 8:40 a.m. is blocking the westbound and eastbound lanes of traffic.
The cement truck is spilling fuel and other liquid onto the roadway, according to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office personnel on the scene.
