Employees at Carson City Hall showed off some great costumes Tuesday while holding their yearly Halloween pumpkin carving contest.

The City’s finance office’s submissions featured a humorous “Audits of Past” pumpkin and a spooky creation reminiscent of the headless horseman.

The “Deputy Pumpkin” by the Carson City Dispatch Center sports tiny handcuffs while Carson City Health and Human Services had some very detailed submissions with the look of a porcelain doll that might have voodoo abilities. It looks like the staff at City Hall had a great time celebrating halloween.

The pieces will be on display until 5 p.m. Tuesday if community members would like to put in their vote for best pumpkin. City Hall is located at 201 North Carson Street.
