The Carson City Historical Society invites the community to wrap up Nevada Day celebrations with an Open House at theĀ Foreman-RobertsĀ House Museum on Saturday, Nov. 1, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., immediately following the Nevada Day parade.
Visitors will be welcomed for docent-led walk-throughs of Carson Cityās beloved 1860s Gothic-Revival landmark and treated to the newly opened R. Merle Trehal art exhibit, Wild, Wild WestāNevada Style!, on view in the adjoining Carriage House. The exhibit showcases striking Western scenes by the late Nevada artist whose work captures the people, landscapes, and spirit of the Silver State.
