Nearly 75 competitors and a couple hundred spectators braved wet and windy conditions for the 2025 fall Mutton Bustin’ Jackpot at Fuji Park in Carson City on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025.
The event is hosted by Dare to be a Cowboy, a nonprofit working to educate and inspire the next generation of cowboys, cowgirls and rodeo competitors.
The Mutton Bustin’ Jackpot is designed to give young riders a hands-on taste of rodeo, take home a memory that’ll stick, and hopefully spark a lifelong love for the sport.
