Carson City sheriff’s deputies will conduct saturation patrols next Sunday, Oct. 12, throughout Carson City. In addition, deputies will be checking to ensure vehicles have current proof of insurance.
The focus of these patrols will be for speeding and unsafe drivers, said Carson City Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Scott McDaniel. The patrols are conducted to lessen the risk of motor vehicle crashes caused by excessive speed and unsafe driving habits, he said.
