Carson High School is proud to recognize Jacob Alvarez as its Senior in the Spotlight. Jacob stands out as a deeply curious, driven and well-rounded student whose academic and personal achievements reflect both passion and purpose.
Jacob has pursued the most rigorous coursework available, including 13 AP classes and seven honors courses, and he is on track to earn the AP Capstone Diploma. His love for science—especially biochemistry and chemistry—goes beyond the classroom. He seeks out real-world, lab-based experiences that deepen his understanding and fuel his desire to make a meaningful impact through science.

A dedicated and resilient student, Jacob joined the Carson community in middle school and quickly became a respected leader. He’s been active in his local Nazarene Church, where his faith and character have continued to grow.
Outside the classroom, Jacob shines through his three years in marching Band, time as a track and cross-country athlete and leadership roles in FBLA. He recently joined HOSA to explore health science and also enjoys creating music in his free time.
Jacob’s integrity, intellectual focus and drive to serve others through science make him truly exceptional. Carson High is proud to honor him and excited to see the future he is building!
