Three people were arrested Saturday during a Black Lives Matter march at the Nevada State Capitol in Carson City, according to Sheriff Ken Furlong.

The demonstrators were arrested following an issue with protesters walking in the bike lane.

Multiple warnings were given to the protesters by deputies throughout the evening to stay out of the travel lane.

Tensions were high on Carson Street at BLM members and men dress dressed in military garb carrying guns yelled at each other across Carson Street for some time.

This is the first time any arrests have been made during the weekly BLM protests on Carson City this summer, according to Sheriff Furlong.

It is unknown what the protesters were charged with at this time.
