
Six lucky people will have a chance to ride in the famous Wells Fargo Stagecoach in this year’s Nevada Day Parade in October.
The Carson City Chamber, Wells Fargo Bank, and Advocates to End Domestic Violence have teamed together to offer the memorable Nevada Day experience for six lucky persons who purchase a $5 raffle ticket to ride in the Wells Fargo stagecoach this Nevada Day, Oct. 27. Proceeds of the raffle will go to support the programs of the Advocates.

Area Wells Fargo Vice President Lisa Stirgus is excited to be able to offer this unique experience to the lucky recipient and states, “Wells Fargo continues to support Nevada Day and the Carson community by showcasing the stagecoach and has always filled the interior of the stagecoach with friends and family of Wells Fargo employees. This year, we are offering this unique and exciting experience to the public as our gift to those who support Advocates to End Domestic Violence by purchasing a raffle ticket.”
Advocates Executive Director Lisa Lee states, “We are delighted Wells Fargo has chosen our organization to highlight and support and we appreciate the partnership. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the timing is perfect because we will be ending Domestic Violence Awareness Month on a high note. Lee is donating special t-shirts to each rider. The Chamber will teach how to wave “royally” and host a champagne reception at the end of the ride to cap off the festivities.
Raffle tickets may be purchased at the popular Classy Seconds Thrift Store, 2011 winner of the Best Thrift Store in Carson City, located at 411 Hot Springs Road. The Chamber will be selling tickets at their membership functions and the public is invited to purchase tickets at their office located on the second floor at 1900 S. Carson Street.The drawing will take place on October 19 at the Wells Fargo Capitol Branch at 5 p.m. The winner will be able to invite friends and family up to a total of six to ride inside the coach.
