Hi Carson Now community!

I wanted to reach out because my child is currently competing in Colossal’s Youth Athlete of the Year competition, a nationwide campaign raising funds and awareness for the Why Not You Foundation.

As a parent, I’m very passionate about my son’s academics, athletics, and future. Through this competition, Jayden has the opportunity to set his future up for success and help other youth in need. This experience has been incredibly meaningful because the Why Not You Foundation is a nonprofit organization that partners with hospitals and research groups to fund pediatric care and cancer research. They support equal learning opportunities, student development, and college access. They also support youth empowerment with mentorship programs to encourage youth to lead with a “Why Not You?” attitude.

If Jayden wins, he will be named Youth Athlete of the Year to take home $25,000 and represent 3Brand in Sports Illustrated on CBS. Most importantly he is raising money and awareness for youth in need nationwide!

Jayden is from Reno and currently we live in Carson City for the last 9 years. He is an amazing son, brother, and athlete. Jayden excels in academics as well as sports, he loves playing with his little siblings and teach them along the way. Jayden plays Carson City Pop Warner Football, basketball, soccer, cross country, baseball, and will be doing track this year as well. He has a 4 year old brother with a disability that he is so amazing, caring, and loving with. Jayden helps him anytime without hesitation. He is just an all around amazing child that deserves the world.

I would love to see our community come together to vote Jayden Youth Athlete of the year and make his dreams come true.
