Sustainable industries and the future of energy-savings for businesses and companies will be the focus of a luncheon for regional industry and corporate leaders on Wednesday in Reno.
The event is being put on by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, EDAWN, and is called Business Advantages to Sustainability. It will be held at the Peppermill Casino, from 11 to 2 p.m. It features several keynote speakers, including Trenton Harris, President and CEO, Via Seating; KC Mares, President & CEO and MegaWatt Consulting; Stephen Witek, P.E., LEED AP President, SEED Inc. The event is being moderated by Dr. Jason Geddes is the Environmental Services Administrator for the City of Reno.
