The theme for the Carson City Photo Club this month was Insects and Macro, and the club has announced the winners.

The Carson City Photo Club meets at 6:00 on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except December) at the Carson City Sheriff’s Office (use west entrance). All levels of photographers are welcome.

The theme addressed by this month’s winners was “Insects/Macro”.

First Place: “Wasp” Trent Pitsenbarger

Second Place: “Tarantula Wasp” Marylou Schindler

Third Place: “Mothra” Barbara Murch

Winner’s Choice: “Toad” Cathy Carney

Kelsey is a fourth-generation Nevadan, English professor and investigative journalist working in the Sierras. More importantly, she is an advocate of high desert agriculture and rescue dogs.
