Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Sept. 2-8, 2024. Closures or lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street is closed to westbound traffic now through June 30, 2025, for construction.
— Crystal Water Way between Aquifer Way and Killdeer Road will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Pine Lane near Carson Catalina Apartments will be closed to thru traffic on Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— 5th Street between Carson River Road and Marsh Road will have flagger control for shoulder work, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
— Bodie Drive near Camille Drive will have shoulder work on Thursday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Bunch Way will have striping and installing of signs and markers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be intermittent street closures, lane reductions.
— Dori Way will have striping and installing of signs and markers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be intermittent street closures/lane reductions.
— Fall Street between William Street and John Street will have shoulder work from August 26, 2024, to September 6, 2024, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— Lompa Lane between Sherman Lane to Lincoln Highway will have lane closures and reductions from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Mallory Way near 800 Mallory Way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Nye Lane between Dori Way and Bunch Way will have reduced lanes from Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Poole Way will have striping and installing of signs and markers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be intermittent street closures/lane reductions.
— Roberta Way between Carmine Street and Sherman Lane will have striping and installing of signs and markers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be intermittent street closures and lane reductions.
— Sneddon Way will have striping and installing of signs and markers from Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. There will be intermittent street closures, lane reductions.
— Valley Street near the intersection of William Street will have shoulder work from August 26, 2024, to Sept. 6, 2024, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— William Street between Fall Street and Valley Street will have shoulder work from August 26, 2024, to Sept. 6, 2024, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
— Winnie Lane between Mountain Street and Carson Street will have narrow or shifting lanes from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.
