Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Aug. 13-19:

Work will continue on the Downtown Curry Streetscape Project. For specific details regarding traffic impacts as a result of the project, please refer to http://www.carsonproud.com/ for more information. This source will be updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

— Long Street will be closed between Mountain Street and Malaga Street, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

— E. Park Street will be closed between Fall Street and Stewart Street, Monday-Thursday, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.

— Silver Sage Drive will be closed between Clearview Drive and Roland Street, Monday-Sunday, all hours. Access will be open to residents on Silver Sage Drive.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

— Fairview Drive will have reduced lanes between Highway 50 and I-580, pilot cars will be used between Butti Way and I-580, Monday and Tuesday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

— Fairview Drive will have reduced lanes between Roop Street and I-580, Wednesday and Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

— Fairview Drive will have reduced lanes between Highway 50 and North Edmonds Drive, Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

— Highway 50 will have reduced lanes at the intersection of Lompa Lane, Tuesday and Wednesday, 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

— Ormsby Boulevard will be reduced to one lane between Dartmouth Drive and College Parkway, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Special Events:

— Levitt Concert Series: King Street will be closed between Division Street and Thompson Street, Saturday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.

— CHS Football Kickoff Dinner: Curry Street will be closed between Second Street and Fourth Street, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 11:45 p.m.
