Jazz and more filled the air around the Nevada state capital Tuesday night as the annual Carson City Jazz and Beyond Music Festival continues through Aug. 21.
Tuesday night’s events featured included “Music on the Veranda” at Café at Adele’s with Red’s Blues Trio, as well as an open Jazz Jam hosted by Rocky Tatarelli and Judith Ames at Living The Good Life Nightclub-Bistro-Lounge.
In its 13th year, the Carson City Jazz and Beyond Music Festival features more than 100 bands playing over a span of about two weeks at daily music venues around the state capital.
Most music venues are admission free, said David Bugli, president of Mile High Jazz Band Association, which sponsors and organizes the annual music celebration in Carson City.
