Grief can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to carry it alone. Join Miller Counseling and our amazing volunteers for our First Annual Grief Sucks Burn at Washoe State Park for an evening of healing, remembrance, connection, and hope.
This FREE family-friendly event includes activities for all ages throughout the day. Kids can enjoy sack races at 3:30 PM, tie-dye at 5:00 PM, story time at 6:30 PM, and S’more Grief at 8:00 PM. Adults are invited to participate in an Opening Ceremony and Reiki Cleansing at 4:00 PM, a Grief Support Group at 5:30 PM, a Sound Bath at 7:00 PM, and our Grief Burn at 8:30 PM. There will be hotdogs, sodas, water, and fun being served all afternoon.

Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one or supporting someone who is, this event offers a safe space to honor your journey while connecting with others who understand.
