Motorists going through downtown Carson City on Saturday may experience some delays due to demonstrators at the capitol and legislative complex.
As in previous demonstrations in front of the capitol and legislative building, the Carson City Sheriff’s Office advises motorists traveling along Carson Street through downtown may experience delays and should adjust travel routes accordingly.
Demonstrators began gathering at 9 a.m. and are expected to be there until early afternoon.
The demonstration is organized by 50501 an organization critical of the president’s policies. Similar demonstrations are happening in cities across the nation.
