Carson City emergency crews responded Sunday morning to an injured bicycle rider near Mexican Dam and Sierra Vista Lane.
The female suffered serious injuries in the bicycle crash, which happened on a trail near Mexican Dam. She was wearing a helmet, said Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Jon Pedrini.
Care Flight landed at 9:09 a.m. to fly the victim to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno. Their condition is unknown at this time.
