The Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center (SFIDC) in Minden has reported a 30-acre brush fire burning north off Interstate 80 in the area of the Apple Data Center near Patrick, just east of Sparks.

The working incident, called the Apple Fire, was reported at 4:55 p.m. Saturday afternoon. Resources are on scene. No reports of any structures threatened at this time.

A wildfire grown to more than 12,000 acres is currently burning northeast of that location near Pyramid Lake and is currently threatening about 20 homes on the reservation. Evacuations have been requested for homes in that area due to their proximity to the Perry Fire.
