On Thursday the Carson City Special Enforcement Team conducted a city wide educational sweep to visit all the local glass and liquor shops that sell glass pipes.
SET visited each location and provided them information regarding selling drug paraphernalia and selling marijuana paraphernalia to minors.
The educational sweep was very effective and local stores worked with SET in destroying all illegal paraphernalia that was on display for sale. All the shops were cooperative and eager to work with law enforcement and ensured they would be compliant in the future.
SET ultimately collected nearly 1,000 methamphetamine style pipes for destruction. SET makes community safety and drug awareness its top priority and will continue working with the public to educate on local county codes and Nevada Revised Statutes.
