
The man wanted in connection to a June 26 shooting in Silver Springs is in custody, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Stephen Shytle was taken into custody at 2 p.m. Monday after investigators were acting on a tip, locating him in a remote area of Silver Springs. He was wanted on an outstanding warrant related to the double shooting on June 26.
He was booked for two counts attempted murder and one count battery with a deadly weapon causing substantial bodily harm. His bail was set at $310,000.
