A Gardnerville man has been identified in the fatal motorcycle accident Wednesday morning on State Route 88 at Centerville Lane in Douglas County, the Nevada Highway Patrol reports.
Craig William Ducar, 42, died from injuries sustained from a collision with another vehicle.

A preliminary crash investigation indicates that a Red Hummer, driven by a 51-year-old Gardnerville resident, was traveling westbound on Centerville Lane from the stop sign and failed to yield striking Ducar who was driving a Honda motorcycle.
Ducar was pronounced dead at the scene. The traffic was diverted while emergency crews investigated the accident.

The Major Accident Investigation Team of the Nevada Highway Patrol-Northern Command is continuing to investigate this accident. Witnesses or anyone with additional information should call Trooper Eric Gallagher at (775) 689-4661 regarding case No. NHP-1107130909.
