Due to ongoing staff shortages, the recent passing of our founder’s son, and other time-intensive challenges, Catmandu will be offering limited services through August 1, 2025. This temporary pause will allow us to regroup, support our team, and continue providing the highest level of care to our feline residents.

 Services available during this period:

  • Adoptions: Available by appointment only. Please visit our Petfinder page to view adoptable cats and complete a pre-adoption application.
  • Surrenders: We are unable to accept new surrenders until August 1, unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Tours: The facility will be closed to the public for tours until August 1.
  • General Information & Assistance: We will not be available to the general public during this time. However, we will continue to support our current foster and senior foster cats.

We deeply regret the need for this temporary reduction in services and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. Your patience, understanding, and continued support mean the world to us.

The Cats Are Safe and Well

Please rest assured: our cats are healthy, happy, and receiving excellent care. Our dedicated staff and volunteers remain committed to their well-being, and the Catmandu volunteer schedule remains unchanged.

We look forward to welcoming you back when we resume normal operations on Friday, August 1, 2025, and continuing our mission to serve the cats—and cat lovers—of our community.

With gratitude and purrs,
The Catmandu Team
