The Carson City Fire Department is on scene of a reported fire at Carson Sunset Apartments, 900 North Saliman Road in Carson City.
No flames have been observed, but light smoke was detected. According to firefighters at the scene, one child was reportedly transported to the hospital for burns prior to emergency crews arrival.
Firefighters are treating the scene as a working incident. No word yet on any evacuations occurring within the apartment complex.
