UPDATE: A man was taken into custody in Douglas County on Tuesday morning in connection to a shooting that happened at around 5 a.m. on Kingsley Lane, according to Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong.

The arrest comes after shots were reported at around 4:54 a.m. at a home and a vehicle. No one was injured in the incident.

“He is cooperating and was taken into custody in Douglas County this morning,” said Sheriff Furlong.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating shots fired early Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of Kingsley Lane. There were no injuries.

According to Sheriff Ken Furlong, there was a report of shots fired in the 1300 block of Kingsley Lane at 4:54 a.m.

“We received reports of shots fired with two shell casings recovered. Units are investigating,” said Sheriff Furlong, adding there’s no danger to the public.

A Carson Now reader reports they heard gunshots in their neighborhood near Seeliger Elementary early this morning and that Kingsley was blocked with caution tape.
