Lyon County Sheriff’s Office release
On June 9, 2023, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was made aware, by an anonymous person, of a possible child neglect/endangerment situation.
The reporting party advised there was a juvenile, who resides in the Mound House area, who would wander the neighborhood in their diaper without parental supervision.
The reporting party also advised, at one point, they returned the juvenile to their residence, where the reporting party observed poor living conditions.
Deputies responded to the juvenile’s residence, but were unsuccessful in contacting anyone there. However, from outside the residence, Deputies observed the inside to be extremely dirty, as there was trash and feces throughout the residence.
A search warrant was obtained for the residence, which was subsequently served. Upon entry to the residence, Deputies observed the residence to be extremely dirty and uninhabitable.
ALEXANDER CIACCIO and KIMBERLY CIACCIO were placed under arrest. Both are being charged with two counts of Child Abuse/Endangerment (Felonies) and ALEXANDER is also being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The Department of Child and Family Services arrived on scene and took custody of the two juveniles who were living in the residence.
