Local coach and movement instructor Jaime Cevallos, known in the area for his work with baseball and golf athletes through The Swing Mechanic, will host the grand opening of his new “Pain-Free Strength” movement training studio on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 5801 Sheep Drive, Unit 6, in Carson City.

The event is open to both kids and adults and will give attendees a chance to experience a different approach to strength and coordination training through live demonstrations, movement challenges, rings training, and free evaluations.

While Cevallos has spent years working with rotational athletes and swing mechanics, the new facility expands into broader movement and strength training focused on coordination, balance, mobility, joint health, and sustainable strength development for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Guests attending the grand opening will be able to:

  • Try movement and coordination exercises
  • Experience gymnastics rings training
  • Watch live demonstrations
  • Receive free evaluations
  • Learn about upcoming classes and programs

The studio’s philosophy centers around joint-friendly strength training through “slow-wave” training, rather than traditional repetitive exercise methods that tend to break down the joints.

The event is free to attend, and all fitness levels are welcome.
