Carson City Fire Department knocked down a backyard fire Thursday evening in the 1700 block of Rand Court off of Rand Avenue in East Carson City.
The fire was reported at around 8:10 p.m. CCFD reports the fire was in between nearby yards and that no structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
