Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded early Monday evening to a collision involving three vehicles at the junction of South Carson Street and US-50 West and Highway 395.
Reported at around 5:25 p.m., a Carson City Sheriff’s Office first responder reported a 14-year-old juvenile who said they suffered head pain.
The incident appears to be a rear-end collision, according to Carson City Fire Department personnel on scene. Five people were evaluated at the scene and four declined medical attention. One person was being taken to the hospital via a privately owned vehicle (POV).
Traffic is being re-directed around the incident. Motorists can expect delays.
