Drop in to see the art exhibit of Addison Buckner, the 2026 winner of the NAA Student Scholarship Award. Addison is a graduating senior at Douglas High School.
She will be attending WNC in the fall with future plans of furthering her art career as a high school art teacher. Addi has had numerous awards for her art and credits her high shool art teacher, Mrs. Zoe Shorten for pushing her to be a better artist.
Addi’s show runs through June 14th at the Nevada Artists Association Gallery, 449 W. King St., Carson City. The gallery hours are Tuesday-Sunday, 12-4pm.
