Parks & Rec director Roger Moellendorf passed on word today that the city closed the deal on the $3.7 million, 370-acre Jarrard Ranch.
Now, before anybody throws a fit about how can the city afford to spend this money when they have a hole in their budget, this money comes from the open space fund that was established by voters and can’t be used for anything else.
