Capital Nevada Toastmasters, one of the area’s most welcoming and uniquely “boutique” Toastmasters clubs, will host an open house on Thursday, June 11th, from noon to 1:00 p.m. The event will take place inside the KNVC community radio studios, located beneath the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall. Light refreshments will be served.
The club considers its small size to be its greatest strength. With fewer members than many larger Toastmasters groups, Capital Nevada Toastmasters offers participants more speaking time, more personalized support, and a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere that helps members grow at their own pace. Visitors to the open house will have a chance to see a live demonstration of how members help one another build confidence, communication skills, and leadership abilities.
“People are often surprised by how friendly and low‑pressure our meetings are,” said club president Josh Hobson. “Our size allows us to give every member meaningful time to practice and improve.”
Guests are always welcome at the club’s regular weekly meetings, held every Thursday from noon to one at the same location.
