By Joanne Jorgensen, CHS Special Education/Life Science teacher — Carson High School is pleased to recognize Nicole Madsen as this week’s Senior Spotlight. She is honored for her resilience, dedication and unwavering spirit. Since arriving in Carson City, she has faced challenges that would test even the strongest students, yet she has met each obstacle with grace and determination.

Academically and emotionally, she has gone above and beyond, demonstrating not only a commitment to her education but also a kindness and warmth that makes her a light to those around her. Her ambition to attend cosmetology school and one day own her own business is a testament to her drive and passion for creating beauty in the world — inside and out.

A true social butterfly, she brings joy and positivity wherever she goes, and there is no doubt that her future is as bright as her spirit. Nicole deserves the world, and Carson High can’t wait to see all the amazing things she’ll accomplish.
